前段时间在tvdb上加了个新的中文电视剧，没过多久就被删掉了。不知道是因为等级不够还是资源不完善。
中文影视数据比较好的感觉是豆瓣，但是豆瓣的API压根就不开放了，没法做plex的插件。
有没有其他什么比较好的选择？不然干脆自己做一个了。

My Plex is currently connecting to a 4TB External Hard Drive while running the Plex app on my iMac. For some reason I keep losing connectivity between Plex and my Hard Drive, therefore giving me a file location errors and such when I try to open a movie, music, etc..

How can I stop this from happening? I have tried two different 4TB External Drives and it happens to both sporadically. The other issue is that I cannot locate where I point my plex app to the external hard drive for the library anymore. Thoughts?

I've installed Plex Media Server on FreeNAS 11. When I login to my server at https://:32400 it asks for my 4 digit PIN. After I enter that it says that it can't find the server. And when I go to Settings, there is no "Server" section.

Is there anyway to auto start the Plex Media Server on boot up. If the power goes down and the Shield re-boots I have to go in and manual re-start the server.

Hi. I've been using Plex for about 10 days, so I'm far from an expert. However, it has been working great for me until the updates today. When I brought up the PS4 it updated both the PS4 firmware and the Plex software, so I don't know which is causing the problem, but I can no longer get audio from any of my videos. Video image and subtitles are working fine, but the audio is gone. I've tried streaming videos that I know have been working; no audio. Also, streaming to my iPhone from the same server is working fine, so it seems to be a PS4 specific issue. I tried (based on an old Reddit post) to power down (and unplug) all components in the system to force a hard reset, but that didn't help. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
Plex has been flawless over ~100 hours of usage until this afternoon! Help!!

I created a premium music library and "Plex-Mix" was an option, so I made a Plex-Mix with a Black Keys song.

I recently removed that library, created a complete new music library with all of the same files (still creating a premium library). And now the "Plex Mix" is not an option on a lot of my songs (including the original Black Keys song used for the first Plex-Mix).

I have found a few songs that offer it, but not nearly enough (and I'm talking about mainstream artists). The first library was set to 75 genres.... the new one was set to 500 genres. I have now changed the option back to 75 genres to see if that helps.

My music Library has 2,400 artists and 31,000 tracks, so I know it has a wide enough variety of genres.

Should I delete the library and reload all of the songs again? (that takes a while).

The main reason that I got the lifetime plex-pass was to use the "Plex-Mix" option and pretty much make radio stations out of my own music and synch them to my android for offline use (as I travel trough areas with no cell service often and can't stream other media remotely.

Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance.

I have ran out of space on my QNAP NAS TS869L and need to copy all my files over to a new storage pool and remove the old.

If i turn off the media server in the App's can i just remove the old "multimedia" files and rename the new NAS storage pool "multimedia" and turn it back on again or do i need to redirect all my plex items to it individually ?

I really do not want to loose years of meta data so thought i would check first for the best way todo this before trying, please forgive me if it is explained elsewhere as i would like to know of any problems or best ways anyone else had/used.

i got an Sony Xperia XZ with Android 7.1.1 and a 128GB SD Card, if i want to Sync to my SD Card (In settings changed) it wont download/write to my SD Card, to internal storage everything is fine. If i change it back to SD Card it stops after transcode, it wont download, i think the write permissions are wrong? I gave it the permissions in settings -> apps -> plex

What i'm doing wrong?

Greetings all!

What started out as me trying to learn Python ended up being a quite useful app, so I thought I'd share what I've got so far.

This initially started out basically as a direct port of PlexWatchWeb from PHP to Python so it would be easier for most people to get running. I however am never satisfied so after much tinkering and tweaking I started slowly adding and fixing things that I thought needed attention.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about then that's fine too, if you came here to just find a tool to easily monitor and receive notify playback events from Plex you're at the right place.

Any plans for plex on the wireless Bose system the one like Sonos?

I'm on Plex Media Server version 1.7.6.4058, and I reinstalled Windows the other day, copying the /User/AppData/Local/Plex Media Server/ folder to a safe place, and then back after reinstalling. Ever since, PMS will crash after a little while, sometimes 10 minutes, sometimes a couple hours. I'm on the Windows 10 Insider Preview slow ring now, if that could be causing a problem with Plex. Here are my logs:

The Dashboard is never Loading after Update to Version 1.7.5.4035 on Windows 10 Firefox Browser.

Just so you devs know, video playback does not work with both the current beta and release apps in iOS 11. When you initially press play, the video loads endlessly until you press pause then play, at which point the audio starts working but only the covert art is displayed.I think this might be caused by Apple's obsession with HEVC now.

Currently trying to install the latest Plex DVR version on my WD NAS PR4100. I uninstalled the previous version and deleted the old bin file which was working fine then I installed the latest version and now I get an error when I hit configure even though it says it installed all ok.

The error is

192.168.1.10 refused to connect.

Try:
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall

I've reset the NAS I've reset the Router, I replaced the router with a new router, I've uninstalled the Firewall I switched just about every setting in the router and the WD NAS and am now at a total loss. Thought I would try here for I totally give up and cancel my Plex membership.

Any Help desperately appreciated, I love plex and don't want it to end like this!

So I've posted previously about my PMS not working properly on my iMac, and I still don't know what caused the issue. It's still not working despite all the fixes I've attempted. I've tried with the firewall off and on (specifically allowing Plex to make incoming connections). UPnP doesn't work. Port forwarding doesn't work. Both of those solutions DO work for my Windows PMS. I've assigned static IPs to both PMS machines, and have set up port forwarding for both, with each getting its own unique incoming port. At this point, I have to wonder if it's the iMac having issues. Using canyouseeme.org, the port for the Windows PMS is fine, but any port that points towards the iMac is viewable. I'm at my wit's end, and am now wondering if I'm going to need to wipe my iMac and start from scratch to see if that helps its networking issues. I've attached logs from starting my PMS on my iMac and it failing to configure remote access.

I just upgraded my NAS to a new Storage Pool and QNAP TS869L lost my Plex Media Server !

I really need help/step by step guide on how to access the old data on my Mac/Safari/Plex ect and delete the new empty server and replace it with the old.

If any body could help that would be fantastic.

Below is a quick run down of what i did -
First i went in to Plex and turned off empty trash then on to QNAP APP Centre and turned the App Off (as recommended by Plex on how to upgrade/move storage)
Then i moved and upgraded my Storage Pool ect
I then once all my files where back the way they were before the move went back to the App centre to turn Plex back on and if necessary change each media types file location only to find QNAP App centre Plex App only giving me an option to install not turn on !
So i reinstalled it, turned it on and it wanted to do a new set up, after this i can see my old server on the list of severs in Plex but it will not find it as I’m afraid it does not exist on the QNAP anymore, I can not understand for the life of me why over the week it took me to move and set up a new storage pool the Qnap App centre would uninstall my Plex App without permission loosing 8 years of my data !

Downgrading hasn't helped. Each time I try to watch a show I get the error on screen "Conversion failed. The transcoder crashed or failed to start up."

Local videos play just fine.

I do see the following in the logs but don't know why that folder would disappear or not get created
