The description for the list of supported devices says all HDHomeRun devices are supported, but the link only shows current models. Is the HDHomeRun Dual (HDHR3-US) supported? It's an older model, and it's not supported by SiliconDust's HDHomeRun DVR, so I was wondering if it is supported by the Plex DVR.

No media can be played with the App on Samsung K5579 and KU6079
At first, my english is not the best ... so i hope you can understand what the problem is 
We have two new Samsung TV's K5579SUXZG and KU6079UXZG with the Plex App installed. Plex-Server is running on an DS216Play. Both TV's found the Server an I can Browse through the Media, can see the Covers, and so on. Until here everything works as usual. But if I want to play a movie or a picture then a small window came up with the following error:
"Sorry, there was a problem playing this item"
This must be a problem of the app, while on all other TV's (e.g. F6340) on PC's, Smartphones and PS4, everything works fine and I can play the Movies and Pictures. The Error occurs only on the two 2016 TV's.
Is there a solution for this Error?

Media Not Being Removed, Only Listed As Unavailable
So, on a Mac running Plex 1.7.6.4058, I have removed 2 folders that had media in them. But, instead of removing the items from Plex, they stay in the Library but are listed as unavailable. If I remove a folder from another artist as an example, they remove properly, as has always been the case.
I then removed the entire artist, and no dice. I have re-added the folders and then the media plays and all is fine, but if I remove the media files again, same thing occurs.
This is not a root folder or anything, and is named similar to all other folder/files that have been working for years. Very strange.
Ideas?

What are the steps that we need to take to reproduce your problem?
When you start playing a serie or movie on your television it loads (a little longer than before the update) and starts. After ~30 secs it stops and start buffering, before starting 2 secs to start buffering again. I have 3 other Samsung TV's running other OS (not Tizen) with the newest version of Plex App, with no issues with Plex. I even tried to reset the entire TV. No problem before the update (streamed a 4K movie with no lag, no loading time.. No I can't watch an episode of The Flash (20 min)) This update came a few days ago.
I tried switching from 5Ghz (which has full strength and can stream 4K from Netflix with no issues) to 2.4Ghz and even took a LAN-cable to ensuring myself and Samsung that this was not the issue.
Does it happen with every file of this media type or just some?
Not file specific, happens randomly after short amount of time, even tried to change the settings (quality eg.) with no luck at all. Reached out to Samsung Support which logged into my TV to conclude 'The TV seems fine, so we can't do anything - It is most likely something with Plex to do, you'll have to wait for them to release an new version'.

Windows 10 corrupting USB drives
This is going to be wordy so anyone suffering same will understand everything I've tried.
So in my quest for a more power efficient Plex server, I recently setup an HP Elitebook as my new server. See this post: https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/278382/my-new-server-a-gasp-laptop#latest
A few days after copying all my existing media to the new drives, I was having issues with Plex telling me the media wasn't available. Funny, I just watched part of that TV Series yesterday. I remote into the server and open explorer. To my dismay, half of my television series folders are not there and some that are, cannot be accessed. WUT? Digging deeper, a lot of my Movie folders have the same issue. 
My first assumption was i got a bad drive BUT my TV Series and my Movies are kept on separate drives. Is it possible I got two bad drives? Running chkdsk /f I see TONS of issues. Long story short, I fear one of several scenarios.
- I got two bad drives (unlikely)
- My Laptop has a USB issue
- There are problems with the external cases I am using
- I have a virus
Step 1. Boot off a pen drive, do a triple redundant virus/malware scan. CLEAN
Step 2. Connect my 4tb Seagate USB drive and run read/writes tests for 24hrs. CLEAN
Step 3. Change from MBR to GPT on external drives and start all over again.
So I hook the drives to the old server , wipe them and start fresh. Copy 12tb of media to the new drives again, move them to the laptop server.
Two days later... files vanishing and drive corruption again.
The ThermalTake Max 5G hard drive cases I was using were not rated for 6tb drives but I had been reading people saying they had no issues using them. Not to take chances, I ordered a Noontec-TerraMaster D4-310 to hold my drives setup in a JBOD mode.
ONCE AGAIN, I hook the drives to the old server , wipe them copy 12tb of media to them and move them to the laptop server.
Three days later... yup, you guessed it. Going... going... GONE. Total drive corruption on both drives.
Doing some research, it SEEMS this MIGHT come down to the fact that my old server is a Windows 7 machine and the new one, Windows 10. There are threads about people suffering a similar plight when using a USB hard drive on both a Windows 7 machine and a Windows 10 machine.
Currently I have the media once again being transferred to the new drives. On the laptop server I'm going to try disabling all USB sleep/power saving modes, disable write caching and whatever other voodoo settings I can come up with. My fingers are crossed.

Android Plex Activation
I have used the Plex app without issue for quite a while. For the THIRD day in a row it is asking me to activate. I have gone through the steps up to and including deleting the cache, updates, everything for Google Play and Google Play Services and fully deleting the Plex app with a reboot before re-installation.
PLEASE, anyone have suggestions here?

PMP 2.0.7 Feedback
First impressions:
- Visually attractive browsing experience (yay).
- Switching servers is a lot more work now (I run two in-home, so I do this a lot)—I'm not sold on the front-and-center browsing by media type, but I might come around.
- Still no unified dashboard view, and the Home tab should definitely support switching servers just like any media type (see previous point).
- Pre-play info is much nicer.
- Browsing a season with a thumbnail strip is very much improved over the arrow buttons, imo. Clicking an episode probably shouldn't start playing it directly, though.
- This menu alignment triggers me:

- Playback experience is pretty much unchanged, except for the removal of the outline when hovering the mouse on a control button. I assume this will be addressed with the mouse improvements mentioned in the preview announcement.
- Why can't I press/hold Esc to bring up the Exit dialog any more?
Also, this is nothing new, but on Windows 7 every time PMP upgrades the icon pinned to the taskbar changes to a blank white page until the next shell restart. Sometimes it recovers on its own, but this time clicking it removed the item from the taskbar (and then Windows asked if I wanted to remove it because it didn't exist… clicking No didn't put it back, thanks Microsoft). Not sure if Plex can do anything about that, but if possible…it'd be much appreciated.

Problem with subtitles over "Sharing-mode"
I'm currently on holiday and have a problem sharing my content from iPhone to iPad over local Wi-Fi. I can without problem see the individual movies, but when I turn on subtitles, the movie can not be loaded on my iPad. I can see the movies with subtitles on my iPhone. I really hope you can help.

Suggestion on multi-folder Series

So I read all about the series preparation and how to split it in subfolders (seasons) etc. Everything works fine there, however I have a "problem". I have a lot of old DVDs from the Looney Tunes which I moved to my storage and then added them to Plex as a "TV Program".
The problem is the way they are split:

Plex database keeps going corrupt.
I get the following error when starting my plex server:
"There was an unexpected error loading the dashboard"
I've followed the troubleshooting steps according to this site (Windows part):

.. But they didn't work.
I did a complete clean install of Plex (removed cache and everything). After I restart the pc I get the error again. So I tried an older version of Plex. Same issue.
At the moment I'm at the end of my line here and I really have no idea what else I can do to fix this.
Any help would be welcome!

Watch Later not working on latest version
Subject says it all. All items in my Watch Later queue fail with "Couldn't create the playback session for this item." I am on the latest version of both server & client. Also fails on iOS client. Was working prior to latest updates.

Migrate from OSX to Ubuntu
I am trying to move my entire PMS setup from a Mac Mini to a new Ubuntu server. I have managed to install PMS on Ubuntu and moved all metadata, plugins etc. But the settings I can't seem to move.
I really don't want to manually set shows as watched/unwatched...
Anybody know a way of doing it?

Metadata Agent for Open Movie Database
This is a Metadata Agent for the Open Movie Database. It uses the existing Freebase Agent to lookup the IMDb id, then retrieves movie info from Open Movie Database. The Agent will get the following information (English only!): title, year, MPAA rating, release date, genres, directors, writers, actors, plot, rating (IMDb and/or Tomatometer), duration and poster.
Since people keep asking the same questions over and over again, please note:
- This is NOT an IMDb Agent, the data is not coming from IMDb (not directly at least).
- Ratings may be different from what you see on the IMDb website, because [see #1].
- Ratings are expressed as a number between 0 and 10, but most Plex clients display 0 to 5 stars (3 stars = 6, 3.5 stars = 7, etc.). This Agent just retrieves the values, it can't do anything about how this is displayed.
- This Agent works with the Plex Media Server, it is of no use to you if you have just access to a shared library.

IMDB ratings for TV shows?
Hi Everyone,
Is it possible to have IMDB ratings downloaded for TV shows (top level is fine)? I've seen this question asked before, but there I have not seen a clear answer. The 3rd-party "Open Movie Database" agent has been suggested, but I've installed it, and it only includes a Movie agent.
