Hi Guys,
I'm currently looking to buy a small windows PC to run both Plex media server and home theater on, playing the media stored on my NAS.
I run this setup on my main PC atm and my processor barely breaks 11% while playing 1080p mkvs with subtitles (Intel i5 4460 3.20GHz)
I was wondering if an i3 2120 3.3GHz would be beefy enough for the dedicated mini PC?
will it need to do much transcoding in this setup or is home theater able to read most containers without transcoding?
i can get one with an i5 for the same price but it a fair bit bigger than the i3 PC im looking at. Something more compact would be ideal so id rather spend the same on the i3.
