I have been using the Samsung Plex TV app (v2.006 since the last update) on my UN55H6350 model without any issue for a couple of years now. However, within the last week, the Plex TV app has been unable to locate and/or connect to the server (Version 1.1.4.2757) running on my Windows 10 laptop anymore. It lists the server as "undefined:undefined" after browsing for servers under Preferences -> Servers
I am able to connect to the server and watch videos just fine from my iPhone and iPad on the LAN and it also works locally on my PMS laptop and remotely on another laptop in the same LAN.
Here's what I have tried with the TV so far:
- Updating the Plex TV App to v2.006
- Unplugging the TV and waiting for 5 minutes
- Deleting and reinstalling the latest TV App.
- Manually entering the IP address and 32400 into the Plex TV app under Preferences -> Servers, but it says it cannot connect.
- Signing out and back in again into Plex account.
- Disabled security
Here's what I have tried with the Plex Media Server on my Windows 10 laptop so far:
- Turning off the firewall
- Turning off the VPN
- Restarting Plex Media Server
- Rebooting Windows, etc.
- Reinstalling Plex Media Server
- Turning off bluetooth
- Toggling between Required/Preferred/Disabled in PMS under Settings -> Network -> Secure Connections
Any help with this will be really appreciated!
