Plex server keeps renaming my movies

I recently switched from using Handbrake to DVDFab to rip my DVDs and BlueRays. I'm noticing that Plex is using metadata information to name the file instead of the filename like the manual says. This is no problem, because I can change the name and lock it in Plex, right?

Wrong!!!

I rename the movie, lock it, and then the next day, Plex has renamed the movie (both the title and sort title) in my browser to the name in the metadata. I never had this issue when I used Handbrake, but I suspect that is because Handbrake leaves the metadata title field blank. I can't find in DVDFab where I can change how it provides the title information.

Here's my example

Filename = "DREDD (2012).MP4"
Metadata in file = "DREDD.theatrical"

When Plex imports the movie, Plex names it "DREDD.theatrical" in both the Title and Sort Title. I manually edit the movie and change the name to "DREDD" in both areas and lock them to prevent Plex from changing them.

The following day, Plex will have renamed both the Title and Sort Title back to "DREDD.theatrical".

How can I stop this from happening. It is getting frustrating having to constantly rename the files. Some renaming sticks and I never have to change it. Others change back every time I edit them.
