I use a Roku 3 and windows media server.
I know ROKU can't play or passthough DTS-HD or TrueHD, but I have the following question..
I have a number of MKV files that were created via Handbrake with the DTS-HD passthrough option. In Windows Plex Media Server the audio track is listed as DTS 5.1, when it is a DTS-HD 7.1 track. Is Plex just lookiing at the DTS 5.1 Core audio and reporting that?
I have created some MKVs with a TrueHD track and Plex shows TrueHD 7.1.
I posted this almost a year ago in the ROKU Streaming Players forum, but this should be a better forum.
