I don't know if this is a Plex Web problem, or a Plex Media Server problem.
"Recently Added TV Shows" has inconsistent behavior. (1) In some cases, it lists each recently added episode as a separate icon. (2) In other cases, it shows one icon for the entire series, with a count showing how many episodes are unwatched.
I much prefer (2), and wish it would do that all that time. I can only assume this is a bug, because it behaves inconsistently. If it did the same thing every time, then whatever it did could be called "design intent".
Does anyone have an explanation?
See screenshot below. You can see two icons for "Containment", indicating individual episodes. But for "The Shannara Chronicles", you san see there is one icon with a counter showing the number of unwatched episodes. And for "The Blacklist", you can see it is showing an icon for an individual episode, but there is no unwatched orange upper right corner (that's because the episode has indeed been watched). It would make sense to me, to remove stuff that has been watched from the "Recently Added" area. Who cares if it was recently added if you already watched it?
