Hi, I am very desperate for help.
Since i updating my Plex Media Server in my WDMYCLOUDEX2 last week in order to use the plex app at the apple tv 4, I have the following connection problems:
1) My MAC can't connect with WDMYCLOUDEX2 using Finder anymore (before there was no problem) - I am getting a connection failed message logging both as user and as guest. It was great to have access to it via Finder. All connections to WDMYCLOUDEX2 need to happen through my cloud app, which is very annoying.
2) Once clicking CONFIGURE at the WDMYCLOUDEX2 Dashboard APP section for Plex Media Server i get the following message: Safari can't connect to the server. Safari can't open the page http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html#!/dashboard because safari can't connect to the server http://127.0.0.1, so basically I can't use anymore PLEX as the PMS is not linked to the files i have on my NAS.
3) All the media i had at NAS can't be watched at my apple tv anymore, as when the apple tv connects to iTunes remotely, i can not have access to the media.
4) Now i have to access to any of my media files on WDMYCLOUDEX2 i have to download them in my mac, to be able to watched them using VLC or any other media player software.
i have tried it all in the last four days and nothing seems to work. It is like my mac doesnt connect properly to WDMYCLOUDEX2 drive, only partially. I can't delete the former plex media server files from my WDMYCLOUDEX2 as i can't access to them with My cloud and i am not an expert using Linux. Tried based on some post on this website but i have failed miserably.
i've got almost 2tb of data on my WDMYCLOUDEX2 so formatting the drive is not in my agenda unless there is no other resort.
If i have any ideas please, share. Right now Plex is my most hated software ever.....
