I'm getting 'The server is not powerful enough...' error when trying to play MKVs from Blu-Rays. I've 'backed-up' or ripped 2 different movies using 2 different software packages and get the error on both movies. The error is displayed and kicks back to the Movies menu in Plex. I know it has to transcode the 30gb MKV file, but my computer is at 2% CPU utilization when the transcoding is occurring. In fact, I've ripped a Blu-Ray and played 3 movies being transcoded simultaneously to see how much I could tax my server and never got it over 32% on CPU. RAM and network are not being taxed either. I can find no bottleneck in my setup.
Here is my setup:
Plex Server: Lenovo D30, 2 Xeon E5-2660 processors. Each processor has a PassMark.com score of 11891, 32GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Nvidia GT-730 video card
Storage: WD My Cloud 8TB (2TB used, 6TB free)
Switch: HP 1410-24G
AVR: Onkyo TX-NR717
Projector: Epson Home Cinema 5030UB
Connection from Plex Server to AVR is HDMI. Connection from AVR to projector is HDMI.
Connection from Plex Server to switch and NAS to switch is Cat 6
Thank you for your feedback
I haven't seen any feedback on this so I attached the log files.
Plex Version: 0.9.16.4
Looking at the log there are numerous errors stating: "How did a null service make it in for 'IP address'".
I've done a search of the error and can't find anything on it.
