Hi all, I'm new to plex and am having some trouble streaming 4k video files to my tv and would appreciate some help.
Firstly, I'm running my plex server on my desktop PC which is Windows 8, i5 4690, 16gb Ram, GTX 1070 and all media is on a Seagate 7200rpm HDD. The TV I'm trying to stream 4k content to is a Samsung UE43KU6000K which is connected wirelessly to my home network and gets 90Mbps and a ping of 15ms. However, when I try to stream 4k files to it via the plex app it stutters and pixelates.
I've tried several files with the same results and from what I can tell they're all HEVC files.
Are there any settings I need to change to make it work? Would appreciate any advice people have.
