I travel a fair bit and have young kids. We've found that Internet in hotels can be average at best and unusable at worst. I have a 128GB mini-flash drive connected to my AFTV1 and it is awesome as it allows me to have locally synced TV shows and movies that the kids can watch without having to worry about any Internet connection or whether the show they like is on normal TV at the time they want to watch it.
Please add the sync feature to Plex on the AFTV2 and don't disable it on the Plex on AFTV1. To me it is a killer feature that really makes the AFTV useful!
