Plex Web 2.6.0
Linux Mint 17.1
Firefox 45.0
This began happening in the past two or three days, as far as I know. I don't normally play music from Plex Web - I generally use the Roku. The last time I played a track via Plex Web was probably 2 or 3 days ago.
Plex Web will not play any of my music files. When I click on a track, the player loads, and the file loads (progress bar turns light gray), but the track will not begin. The Play/Pause button shows the Pause symbol, indicating that it is in Play mode. Clicking on the Pause button does not toggle it.
This happens with flac and mp3 files.
- With most files, the player just sits there forever. On some files, it eventually gives up and moves to the next track, which also won't play.
- I have no trouble playing these files from the Roku, and I have no trouble playing them from Plex Web at my workplace, where I use Firefox 45.0.1 on Windows 7.
- It doesn't matter if I load Plex Web via localhost or via plex.tv.
- It doesn't matter if the HTML5 player is enabled or disabled.
- In a different browser (Pale Moon, a fork of Firefox from before Australis), it tries for a few seconds, then abandons the track and moves to the next track. It cycles through all tracks, because it can't play any of them. In Firefox, it just sits on the first track I tried to play.
- VLC for Linux plays the files with no trouble.
- I have Window 7 in a VirtualBox VM, and PMP plays music tracks without hesitation.
I have cleared the browser cache, run the Analyze function, Updated library, Optimized database, Cleaned bundles, and emptied trash, to no avail. I have stopped/restarted the server, even rebooted the machine. No luck.
I have attached the debug log. If any other info is needed, please let me know.
