I am asking this question because there are a lot of third party providers that are providing streaming services now. Software like play on can access Hulu, Netflix, amazonTV, and even DirectTV Now. I understand that most of these providers have either proprietary players or certificate/user based authentication. So I have to ask the question why doesn't PLEX have the these plugins? It would seem that PLEX is approaching the threshold of being the best content aggregator for media. I believe this functionality would push it over the edge. It would be a one stop shop for all media. I hope someone from the DEV group can respond to this and let the user community know if this is planned.
