I have a Plex library approaching 5 TB (currently I have about 4.97 TB...) with many files in old/not ideal formats. I am going to embark on a quest to use Handbrake to encode all files in H.265 video to save some space and allow for hardware-accelerated transcoding on the shield. Since I am doing this, I was hoping to get input on what everyone thought would be the ideal codec/mixdown for audio, and which container I should use (if it makes a significant difference). Also if there are any thoughts on the other settings I should use in Handbrake, I'd love the input. I'm going to do some testing to figure as much out as I can (I can post results if people are interested), but if someone already has, I love to hear it.
