Samsung TV crashes & reboots during movie playback (2.006 on UE55HU8200 on PMS 1.2.7)

Hi Orca
Thanks for the latest Samsung app update. Always appreciated!

However, since updating PMS to 1.2.7.2987, Samsung Plex has started randomly crashing the whole TV when watching 1080p movies. The sound stutters for a second or two, then the picture freezes for around 5 seconds, then the whole TV switches off and restarts, no longer in Smart Hub.
This is not a buffering issue; you do not see the white swirling dotted circle; the picture just freezes and the TV then goes black and reboots.

I removed the Plex app, restarted TV, updated the smarthub plex app to v2.006, but this has made no difference. I start watching a movie and after around 20 mins, the picture freezes and the TV reboots.

When you reselect the movie, it remembers where you had got to despite the crash (which is great) but may crash immediately (ie witiin 5-10 seconds) again 3 or 4 times before finally behaving.

Changing to 'direct streaming' seems to give another half hour of movie before the same thing happens again.

My set up is as follows:
Files stored on a WDEX2MyCloud server, attached to Netgear Nighthawk router.
PMS is run on a dedicated PC connected to the router via LAN cable
TV is connected to router via LAN cable.
TV Smart Hub software up to date.

The file was Civil War from a 4Gb file at 1080p. This has only started happening since updating the PMS server.
