SO Confused about Compatible TVs

Hi

I'm in the market for a new 40" TV but which is the best for Plex? I understand there is a lot discussion about 2016 Samsung models not yet having the Plex app so maybe that's not best for now. If I get an Android Sony would that allow me to use Plex right away?
