I am new to Forum and not sure this is the proper discussion area for my issue. I have the QNAP TVS-871 and trying to use the PLEX app on my Popcorn Hour A-400. More than half of my MKV's will not play. If I convert them to MP4 they will play, but this not a good solution. I get no error messages, just a spinning wheel and then a return to the wall. I have the same problem on both of my A-400's.
I have looked at MediaInfo and see nothing that accounts for this problem. I can play all the MKV's on my Amazon Fire TV and I can also play them by setting up a share on the A-400, bypassing PLEX (but the jukebox on the A-400 sucks). No one else using the PLEX app on their Popcorn hour reports problems and there is no setup involved. Being unfamiliar with PLEX I do not know how to troubleshoot/isolate the problem.
