Hi all,
I currently have Plex Media Server installed on a Raspberry Pi 2 B+ and, whilst it will play video, it's taking a severe beating.
I'm currently awaiting my Pine64 computer (www.pine64.com) and whilst I've seen a number of posts on here about getting OpenPHT or Rasplex running on it as a client, I'd like to try and make use of the Cortex-A53 armv8 processor as a server instead.
The "mobile passmark" for the only cortex-a53 I can find here is 10868, suggesting that it will do an excellent job, however, I suspect that the mobile passmark is not equivalent to the desktop/notebook passmark.
Can anyone confirm/deny my assumption and possibly guide me in the direction of better data? https://www.cpubenchmark.net/ doesn't appear to deal with ARM processors so it's difficult to know how well this will work in advance!
Thanks,
Matt
