The latest few versions of the android app do not give me any windows devices to remote play to. When I downgrade to version 4.25.2.588 the casting works perfectly again, so I'm fairly sure this is an android app issue.
My desktop machine is running the latest version of the windows app 2.1.4.25, which shows as a remote player from other windows devices and from the version of the android app mentioned above.
Any suggestions please? I have been trying to troubleshoot this myself, but am not getting anywhere.
