I have a constant image height display which means subtitles for 2.35:1 content that appear below the video (i.e. in the black bars) aren't visible.
I've tried setting the 'sub-use-margin=no' inside MPV.CONF but that didn't work - at least not in Plex Media Player. Interestingly enough the subs do appear on top of the video when using the web player, but not Plex Media Player (and even then it doesn't work for all movies).
Any ideas?
