Approximately three weeks ago, Plex Media Server started running my computer at 100% until it overheats and freezes. I have narrowed the problem down to the media server by eliminating all other processes. The computer runs fine as long as the media server isn't running. Once the media server is on, it continues to run at full speed without any actual streaming activity. I've noticed on the logs that the following event repeatedly occurs before windows freezes up:
Nov 12, 2016 17:01:25.218 [3960] DEBUG - Network change.
Nov 12, 2016 17:01:25.218 [3960] DEBUG - NetworkInterface: Notified of network changed (force=0)
Nov 12, 2016 17:01:25.250 [3960] DEBUG - Network change notification but nothing changed.
Nov 12, 2016 17:01:25.250 [3960] DEBUG - Network change.
Nov 12, 2016 17:01:25.250 [3960] DEBUG - NetworkInterface: Notified of network changed (force=0)
Nov 12, 2016 17:01:25.250 [3960] DEBUG - Network change notification but nothing changed.
I can't figure out what is going on and why my media server keeps doing this. It worked fine for the last sixth months until a few weeks ago.
