Integration of GDrive storage into sabnzb suite setup

I hope it is okay to talk about the tools around sabnzb (mainly SickRage and/or Couchpotato) here. If it is against any rules please excuse my ignorance and remove this post.
I recently gave Plex Cloud and also Google Suites storage a try and right now I am thinking how I could efficiently bring my files to the cloud storage without the need to also store everything locally. I would appreciate if I don't have to upload files manually. I run all the tools on a local linux server and don't own a VPS or anything like that.

I thought about mounting the gdrive with rclone and adding these folders to SickRage and Cuchpotato as folders containing the library so downloaded files will be automatically moved to the cloud after unpacking via post-processing. Is this a reasonable/stable approach? I mean if the connection to the cloud drops during move it will probably fail and has to be performed again. Dunno if SR or CP will do that on their own.

Another option would be to run rclone copy/sync or whatever as a script either after post-processing or via cron to sync the files to the cloud. But I am not sure how to deal with SR, since if the files get deleted locally I don't know if SR will still consider them as being dealt with or what status they will get.

So does anybody run a similar setup and can share their thoughts or even their setup?

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Seems as deleted/moved episodes get the "archived" status in SR which would mean the SR still knows that they exist and were downloaded at one point.
