Apple iOS TVos Player App HLS Streaming Issue on Channels

Hi

Hope this is the right forum to ask in but I was wanting to find out if the HLS Streaming issue (on channels) will be fixed in the next Apple TV 4 player release? It worked in the older version but stopped working on the updated version. Works fine on OSX and Android.

Any help or updates are appreciated
