I've had this issue with my Plex for a while now. No matter what you watch, it will buffer once between the 10 and 30 minute mark. It's quick, it only happens once, and it doesn't come back for the remainder of the movie/show. Can someone help me understand what would be causing this?
I'm running PMS on a Windows 10 machine. The machine has 16 GB of ram, a 3.5 Ghz i5 CPU and 7 TBs of HDD space (technically 14 TBs in the storage pool, but using redundant backup). The machine isn't being used by anything else. The server is being accessed by 4 kinds of devices: Roku Stick (first and second gen), Roku 3, Amazon Fire Stick, and Samsung TV. Each one accesses the media via Direct Play. The files they are accessing vary in size and quality, but no files over 12 GB. And each device has the same exact issue - it buffers once, and only once during the first 30 mins.
Can anyone help me understand what is causing this?
