Environment: PMS running on Win10 Box, 4 users, various clients including 3 Win10 App installs, ipads & phones.
One instance of Win 10 app not working: can see the server, select video content and then can't seem to play them. All other installs working fine. (VLC player works fine btw and so does the Plex web interface to PMS).
Diagnostic steps:
On broken Win App instance; Select 'This Device' in the hope that I can try to play something locally to check that it isn't a codec issue.
Most unhelpful dialogue I have ever seen appears: "Select a library entry from navigation menu to view content".
Apparently it it impossible to add local media to test.
Diagnostic aborted.
Anyone point in me the right direction on this - help greatfully received. :-)
Otherwise, on all the other machines, plex is a marvel.
