Why Dolby Digital True HD And DTS HD Master Audio do not work ?

Hello,

I have another issue with Plex. My configuration is the following :

• Plex Media Server on a Nas Synology DS916

• Nvidia Shield Android TV (connected on a Home Cinema Amplifier with HDMI cable). Audio Passtrough is activate on the Nvidia shield

• Plex Player installed on the Nvidia Shield

All the test i have done with the Plex Player parameters :

1. Direct Play = Auto + Passtrough = Auto : The amplifier show PCM and the sound is not in the original format (True HD or DTS-HDMA). On the Plex Media Server, the movie state is "Audio : Transcoder"

2. Direct Play = Forced + Passtrough = Auto : The movie don't start !!!

3. Direct Play = Desactivate + Passtrough = Auto : The amplifier show PCM and the sound is not in the original format (True HD or DTS-HDMA). On the Plex Media Server, the movie state is "Audio : Transcoder"

4. Direct Play = Auto + Passtrough = Desactivate : The amplifier show PCM and the sound is not in the original format (True HD or DTS-HDMA). On the Plex Media Server, the movie state is "Audio : Transcoder". For me this case is logical

I then tried the same movies with SPMC player (always on the shield) instead of the Plex Player. My amplifier show DD TrueHD or DTS Master Audio and the state of the movie on the Plex Server is "Direct Play" (no transcoding).

So the problem is the "Plex Player".

Can you plese help me to resolve this issue ?
