So, I just got a 16 tb WD Duo. I copied all my media from my nas over to it. My plex server is running on the computer I hooked the wd duo to. So here is the issue.
I went into plex and changed the settings to where my movies and tv folders are. It rescanned everything and with the exception of putting a couple movies that were not watched as new, it seemed to go smoothly. I watch from plex app on fire tv. as far as i saw, there is no setting in the plex app that should point to anything but the server. What just started happening is that, if I let the screen savor kick in or it power saves while in plex. it does not want to respond to back or home or anything. it seems to freeze the screen on black. If I hold down the microphone button, after a few seconds the microphone search comes up and now everything responds normally. This just started today. I see no reason at all for it to be hanging up like it is. any ideas?
Oh on occasion Im seeing an error saying plex was unable to start, drop by the plex forums and tell them about it. Im wondering if somehow when its in its locked state if its erroring our talking to plex itself and not my local server. when that happens I have to force stop plex in order to launch it again.
