I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced or fixed this issue? When I cast to my Chromecast in the bedroom using and Android phone, the video info (DVD cover image, scrub bar and play time and time remaining) will periodically pop up. It seems random, but given my WiFi signal in that room it could be that the Android device periodically looses WiFi signal and when it reconnects I think that the Chromecast pops up the info for whatever reason.
It wouldn't be as disturbing if the subtitles moved up when the info popped up (similar to Netflix on an Android device), but I understand this is probably harder with Plex.
