I was watching TV through Plex on my Samsung UN50JU7500 Curved 50-Inch 4K Ultra HD 3D Smart LED TV as I have been since I owned this TV 11 months ago literally 7 hours ago. I wake up from a short nap and it will not connect now. I just get those goofy dots expanding/recycling over and over again with no connection made from the app to the server. I have had an issue with it until now. I have restarted the computer that hosts Plex, TV will not connect. Manually removed the TV from the Plex server (Settings -> Devices) in the hopes it is an authentication issue, still nothing. Made sure Plex server was up to date: Version 1.1.4.2757 and is checked as up to date. Samsung's Plex app is up to date, prior to this it was update in September and it still worked then, updated it this morning to version to version 2.006. My laptop can connect through web app to Plex and play everything as intended like nothing changed. My iphone can connect and play just the same. My Nvidia Tablet (never used the device with Plex before until now, literally while typing this post to test other devices) connects after simple username/password authentication and plays as intended. The Amazon Firestick connect to the LG smart TV works as intended also. Anyone have a fix, back-alley knowledge of Samsung Plex App bug that just **** the bed somehow?
