I'm getting really confused with what will or won't work with direct play.
I have my PMS on a high spec Windows server and I play back from my Shield TV, both of which are connected to my home network
I have some films that are MKV 1080p DTS that direct play perfectly fine and then other films with exactly the same specs that will transcode instead. On those occasions the transcoded file seems to stutter and pause occasionally.
Is there a way to troubleshoot what is going wrong? It's starting to drive me crazy!
