I have Synology Intel chip nas running Plex beta release and have tried with non-beta production release.
there are several movies/folders that Plex will not bring into the database (about 35) out of my 4000+ movies.
I have tried renaming them, moving them around changing time/date stamps and even moving to different sections of my nas, eg movies to kids-movies.....
I have even gone so far as copying them to my second Synology Nas running production plex and for whatever reason they will show up there but not the same exact files on the main "beta" nas.
Its driving me crazy cause I can't figure out why these 35 movies (mp4) in their own folders and sub-folders won't be added to the plex data base. If you view folders in Pex they show but they say there is NO content, but they contain mp4 files. If i copy the same exact files to my other nas units running plex it works.
I have even created new plex folder call "stubborn-movies' and tried to refresh that and still won't show these movies
any suggestions on what could be the problem?? I am at the point where I am not sure if I should delete the library and recreate it, but 4000+ movies takes a while to recognize and update, and I assume that it would not delete the physical movies just the database listings... Any confirmation on this would be great as well.
