Hi,
Using Plex Media Server version 1.1.4.2757-24ffd60 on Windows 10 x64 (1607), Plex fails to start up: tray icon comes up for a second then disappears, process is not running, and logs show nothing useful (only found in %localappdata%).
This started a week ago, with a previous PMS version (don't know that's version), since then I've updated it to the one mentioned before.
Since then I've tried:
1. Repairing installation from Programs and features
2. Uninstall, reinstall
3. Uninstall, remove Plex %localappdata% folder and HKCU registry entries, Reinstall (after reinstall, registry entries are not there)
4. Tried starting up with normal user and later with elevated rights as well
Nothing seems to work, and as it seems to me as a completely clean install I have no idea what else could I do.
Checked:
- no other program blocks the given ports (32400/32401)
the logs in %localappdata% shows nothing interesting:
The first log shows a db init error with missing tables, columns and indexes, but after the first run, I've checked the db file with an sqlite browser, the given objects now are there.
The next (any following startup) logs show nothing useful
The crashlogs folder is empty
I've attached the install and the first and the next logs.
Could you please take a look at it?
Thanks,
Peter
