Intro

Same as the title. At first I am a Chinese Plex user, when I added the TV Anime videos into Plex, the Plex gave me the English version of the information of the anime season series. However I decided to add more Chinese information for the anime in order to organize me media better and help others do so.

Agent

The TVdb

According to the preset Database Agent in Plex, I first tried The TV Database for my first editing of media which is Plastic Memories , the details I add could be found in here. However, whether the main information, the season information or episode information I edited in The TVdb, Plex won't pull the details from The TVdb.

The Movie Database

After I found out that I can't pull information for waht I just edited on the database of The TVdb, I manually fixed the information, I thought the reason might be the site has the delays to update "xml"(or whatever Plex pulls), an then I ignored it. When I doing the adding of Utawarerumono: The False Faces (The page I edited would be here), I tried to use The Movie databse (because there is not information for this anime on The TVdb). After I spend hours to give more Chinese details of the anime and svaed it on TMdb, same thing happened: Plex won;t read and pull the information I updated from TMdb for this anime (might happens on other TV shows).

Solutions I tried

1.I tried to delete the whole path of Plastic Memories from the Library Settings.
2. I tried to restart the Plex Server Application to edit it.

I want to know is it really caused by UPDATING DELAY that Plex won't recognize it or there are other reasons.
