The thing about Direct Play and DTS

is that your device needs to support DTS. :)
Seems like there's tons of confusion about there about DTS and Direct Play. As of release 2228 of Plex for Google TV we can confirm that DTS (and AC3) does work with Direct Play. This said - your device needs to support it - and there's nothing we can do if it doesn't. This exact same thing can be said of Direct Play and video formats, containers and other audio codecs. I've done a little homework here for you - but please - check your device specs.

I'm not sure why so many believe that transcoding is evil - but in cases like this where your device doesn't support DTS - it means that you can still play your media. Transcoding audio isn't nearly as expensive as transcoding video - so love this aspect of Plex - don't hate it. We're lovers not fighters right? :)

Now... back to DTS and Direct Play:

The only player on the market that I can confirm with 100% certainty that does work is the NSZGT1. There are some others that aren't to market just yet that also work. If you have a GTV player that supports it please do share - I'll update the list below.

First - the Logitech Revue does not support DTS in any way.

As far as I know the Sony NSZGS7 doesn't support DTS:

Chip - one of our trusted Android Alpha Testers has confirmed problems with Vizio's passthrough capabilities - so that's known to not work:

That leaves me with this little list.

Supports DTS
* Sony NSZGT1

Doesn't Support DTS
* Sony NSZGS7
* Logitch Revue
* Vizio Co-star
