Environment:
TV UE65JS9000, Plex App version 2.006
Linux server (Fedora 20), plex version plexmediaserver-1.1.4.2757-24ffd60.x86_64.rpm
Connection - 1Gbps wired, they're on the same table
The audio system (Samsung HW-J8501) is linked to the TV via HDMI ARC or fiber optics (same behavior).
Most Plex content that has more than 5.1 channels of audio is being transcoded instead of streamed.
I want to completely disable transcoding of any kind - I just want both video and audio to be streamed and let the tv and the audio system process them. I know they are able to do that, because if I copy that content to a USB key or a hard disk drive, I can play it on the TV without issues.
