Until recently my 2nd generation Fire TV worked amazingly well with Plex. However about a couple of months ago it started showing symptom of not playing the selected TV episodes, but rather playing the first of the selected shows. (if I select 09/12/2016 TV Show, then it will go back to the first episode of that TV show). I tried
1) Removing the folder from the library and re-adding
2) Uninstalling the app from FireTV and reinstalling,
none of these worked. My server is at home running Ubuntu. None of my other clients (Android / ios clients on my phones, and browser clients on laptop) show this symptop which I think this must be the Fire TV client. Has anyone seen something like this?
If this is an inherent problem with FireTV not being supported as well as other clients, what are other clients that are supported well?
