After seeing that the Plex app went free on the Xbox One, I decided to jump onto the bandwagon. I installed the media server and pointed it to all my media. Relatively straight forward, but when I tried to organize my music into playlists similar to how I've had them in the past on XBMC/Kodi, things start falling apart.
Starting simple, I did a search for the Christmas genre. I have several different tags, including Christmas, Christmas Comedy, Christmas Jazz, etc... I clicked the vanilla Christmas genre and added them to a new playlist. Then I backed out, chose Christmas Jazz this time, selected individual items and this time when I go to add to playlist, it tells me there are no playlists on this server and only leaves me the option to create a new playlist. I discovered that only playlists created with individual selecting, rather than just viewing the entire library with the specified tag will show up under playlists, but is nowhere to be seen when adding individual tracks or albums.
I guess I could live with it a little easier if there was a way to select all items in a genre/category, but as it is I have to click and drag or shift click through a LOT of items. So, is there something I've missed?
