TV Series and Plex App 4.26

Hi everyone, I'm not 100% sure which place this should have gone (since it deals a bit with Chromecast and a bit with the Plex App), I have some other testing to do but I figured I'd get a good base line for my testing, but here goes nothing.

I've noticed something super strange with the latest update to the Plex App. My first thought is the Mini Player at the bottom of the app isn't working 100% the way it was supposed to.

Here's the situation:

We connect to my Plex local server with the Plex for Android app and cast shows/movies to our Chromcast.

I have TV Series XYZ...which my daughter is absolutely obsessed with....as in it's the end of the world if she can't watch it...so, I play S1E10 manually from either the main Show menu, or the Season listing (just a random episode), it will play through fine and if we're home long enough to watch E11, 12, 13 that's great it works amazing. However, if I change to something else like YouTube or ScreenCasting, and then change back to play TV Series XYZ, the app will SAY it's going to play Episode 14, but in fact goes back to playing Episode 10.

Initially I thought: perhaps my naming was wrong and I'm just on something, but this has been happening for a few days now. Seems it only started when v4.26 installed on my Phones/Tablets. It's not specific to a device (I have an ASUS Z00A with Stock FW, an ASUS Z00A with CM13 Nightly Build, and 2 Samsung 10.1 Tab4 w/ Stock FW installed), but seems to only be happening when it's the Plex App.

I don't make a habit of launching from the Web interface, I do have other App related devices I can try (a la my Xbox 360 or my PS4), so I need to test that stuff (this show drives my wife and I insane so when we can get the kids away from the TV (HAH I'm funny!) we dive right into something good like movies the kids can't watch or shows we like).

The log files are a nightmare to read on the server side of things (IMO anyways...but I'm still willing to Wireshark the network and post logs from Plex and Wireshark should they be needed. I'm also willing to throw a Syslog app on my phone to capture in there too should it be needed.

This only has been tested when local to the server.

My setup is this:

Headless Plex Media Server running on Windows 7, Quad Core 3.2GHz CPU, Radeon 9200 GPU w/ 1GB of memory, system has 4GB of memory (approx. 3.3GB available to applications and what not because Windows 7 tends to be a memory hog these days).

6 different devices connecting via my Wireless network to the Plex server - which I have another question on Server selection but that's for a different post...and it might very well be network related

1 Ubiquiti Unifi LR AP running 1 WLAN protected with WPA2 AES encryption

1 Cisco 851 Router configured with a single VLAN due to laziness

2 NetGear POE switches in the mix, again configured with only one VLAN due to laziness

I will be more than happy to get some more data if needed, but any suggestions would be fantastic as I'm really tired of the same few episodes lol
