I have been having an issue for about 8 months where what seams to be totally random, my movies watch list resets and shows tons of movies that have previously been marked as watched.
Sometimes the count jumps from 93(my unwatched count) to 450, 650, 950. It does not happen for my TV shows unwatched count per show., only movies. It seems to happen on random days, sometimes 1 week, sometimes 3 days from each time.
My only fix is to revert my database back to a pervious backup.
I am using a 2012 i7 Mac Mini for my Plex Server, my files are stored on a DS415+ Synology.
My OS is up to date.
My Plex is on the current PlexPass release.
I have some apps that notify my Plex to refresh its library.
About 1200 movies.
