I have two Samsung Smart TVs. On one of them, Plex constantly stops to buffer about every 30 seconds for about 30 seconds. This makes it unwatchable in my opinion. On the other Samsung Smart TV this does not occur. The problem device is the newer of the two TVs. The problem TV runs other streaming apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime and plays my personal content through it's built in DLNA app without ANY buffer issues whatsoever. The problem only happens with Plex. I have tried adjusting the buffer settings, the quality settings and the transcoding settings yet the problem still persists. I will add that my network is AC dual band and the smart TV has full wireless signal strength when connected to my high power wireless network. I believe it is a problem with the Plex app and this particular TV model . You might ask "why not just use the DLNA app that came with the TV since it work?"...well, that's the whole reason I pay for a plex pass...so I can have my content displayed in a beautiful way. Please advise a fix. This is frustrating and has been going on for quite some time now.
