Plex stopping/starting during movie playback

First off, let me say how fantastic the plex app is for gTV - very well designed and a pleasure to use.

However, I have a streaming issue. When I play a movie (all of my movies are AVI) it will very often stop/start, stop/start, stop/start at seemingly random intervals. The pauses can range in duration from 10 seconds to something more like a minute, and I would say that are usually spaced a couple minutes apart. I would say this issue happens to me about 60% of the time I play a movie - not all the time, but enough to post on a forum. It renders the playback frustrating and many times unwatchable. I could not find another with this issue when searching, so either I am terrible at searching or no one else is having this problem.

My setup:
windows7 PC running the latest plex server (pretty good computer so power is not the issue).
PC is ethernet wired
Logitech Revue attached to my TV
Revue is also ethernet wired
Plex app

I noticed that the plex team is very responsive on this forum and I think that's wonderful. If anyone out there has any ideas I can try to implement them.
