I'd love to see Plex scrape cast lists for TV shows, including individual episodes. This is the most critical data for a lot of shows out there. Not scripted shows so much, but the type of talk/variety shows that are based almost entirely off each episode's guests.
I'm still new-ish to Plex and not very savvy with the more tech-y aspects of it, but I know there is some kind of plugin that allows Plex to pull data from Kodi. Kodi happily scrapes TV cast data, including for episodes. Would that plugin allow me to import that info into Plex via Kodi, and if so, would it allow me to display it in the Smart TV app? I've tried to read up on this but I get lost in it all. Thanks for any advice!
