SERVER NOT SHOWING RECORDED CONTENT FROM HAUPPAUGE 2250

i have a folder users/public/recorded tv that my hauppauge 2250 card records tv to, its a ts file but i can also have it transcode to a mpg and nothing shows up in plex? shows no content. am i doing something wrong? i have allways done this in serviio dont understand why plex doesnt see the files.
