plex lagging on PS3 at 1080p 8mbps

Guys it's normal that on my PS3, whatching a video in "original 1080p 8mb/s" it will lag sometimes for 1 sec?
the video is an mkv (mpeg h264 with A52 aka AC3 audio).
If I use 720p 4MBps it wil instantly works fine
