Hi,
Synology allow you to install an older version of Plex (0.9.16.3-1840-cece46d), but none of my movies will play.
I have examined the logs and cross-referenced with what other users have seen/been faced with in the Plex forums, and the problem are apparently caused by errors during transcoding, probably resolved with newer versions (based on a superficial scan of the changelogs).
I'm not prepared to buy a new NAS at this time, having not yet amortized it, but would enjoy it Plex could work with it.
So apparently, the source code is not available. If it were a question of signing a non-disclosure agreement, I would do that, having some skills with build systems (both traditional and modern). What would prevent you from issuing a build for this platform now (whatever the performance might be in the end)?
Thanks,
Dan
