A while back my Vizio Plex app started showing subtitles even though subtitles were off in the TV and nothing changed in the plex server. Nothing I did could turn off those darn subtitles, so I switched to using an Xbox One for Plex streaming, which has worked great.
So I was glad to see in the release notes of the latest server update something about correcting subtitles for certain devices. So I thought, hey, maybe my Vizio TV plex app works again. This time the Vizio Plex app can't even connect to my server. I'm signed in properly and nothing else has changed. I can reach the server from any of my other devices without any problems, just not from the Vizio TV.
Any thoughts about why the Vizio TV is not able to reach the server? I'm really getting tired of plex not playing nice with Vizio...
