I am trying to match metadata for my movie after reorganization. I just went through and painstakingly locked the fields I do not want modified, and now it's not even working.
When you detect a new library Plex goes though and scours your metadata sources and replaces EVERYTHING, even posters. I am able to achieve what I want to do by manually opening each movie in Plex, choosing "match" and choosing my "match" in the list of matches. But... I see no option to do a full re-scan... and yes I've tried "Refresh All" and it simply does not do what "match" does. I thought it would go through and re-detect metadata just like when you add a new library, but skip over your locked fields. For me it generally isn't changing anything, even my unlocked fields. It's not adding actors, ratings, genres and etc., which I have all unlocked.
