Ive read everything... And I read the relay of messages that says its essentially being held hostage at LG.... We don't have a webOS 2.0 app because of LG... @mattseeley I get it... Im sure you probably get tired of all the LG people asking you the same question over and over... I have a different proposal... the XPLAY guy provides a demo that you can use on your LG via USB.... You can then run his app off of the USB or if a person wanted to go through the effort.. They could sign up as a LG Developer, use the Dev app and install the app on their television so that it runs locally...
A modest proposal from a PLEX lover and PLEX PASS subscriber.. Could you allow for a download on your website, that will allow us to do the same thing? XPLAY is right here: (https://www.dropbox.com/s/8at3bi6820d0hqx/XPlay-1.0.39-20160330-Demo.zip)
If the PLEX team doesn't have a LG WEBos 2.0 app, if its been abandoned, if its not worth the effort or hassle, we as the community will understand... We can make use of the platforms that you support... This message is to ask if you are willing to provide a work around for LG, or to at least set the expectation that we will never get this application, so we can stop asking, wondering and inquiring and move on to something that you support. Thank you for all of the work that you and your team has provided to make PLEX a stand out application.
