I'm having a sound quality issue with my new Shield, when running Plex to play from a PMS running on another computer in the house. It is quieter and muffled, almost as if the bitrate is super low. The same videos sound great when streaming to Plex on my Roku 4.
I am using Shield Android TV Version 3.2(24.18.78.152) and Plex app version 4.29.1. This is running through a Samsung 55KU6300 and a Kenwood receiver, streaming from PMS 1.0.2.2413-7 on Linux Mint 17.3.
The audio from other Shield apps is fine, and turning passthrough on/off in Plex and in Shield settings does not change anything. Audio boost does not make a difference either.
Super bummed, and back to my Roku 4 unless I can figure this out. Anyone have any ideas?
