So I have a mapped network drive as one of my libraries on plex. The server is my PC and the mapped drive points to a share on my brother's pc. The library is about 100gb. I use a program to monitor how much GB of data I upload and download on my local and external (internet) network. What I find is that on my local network I am downloading almost 100gb a week from my brothers PC to my PC. The program I use doesn't specifically tell me it's plex, just "system" but all my suspicions are on plex. Is this normal behaviour when having a library on another PC? I thought once the library is setup there should be very minimal amount of data it would have to grab? This is putting a huge stress on my local network.
